Terms and Conditions

Last updated 18 July 2026

These terms set out the deal between you and MentionShare when you use this website or buy one of our audits. We have kept them plain so you can actually read them before you agree. By using the site or placing an order, you accept these terms.

In this page, "we", "us" and "our" mean MentionShare. "You" means the person or business using the site or buying a service.

What we do

MentionShare runs AI-visibility, also called GEO, audits. A human expert takes the real questions your buyers ask, runs them through AI engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Gemini and Google AI Overviews, and reports where you get named, where a competitor gets named instead, what the engines get wrong about you, and a ranked list of changes to fix it. It is a research and advisory service. We give you findings and recommendations. Acting on them is up to you.

Our services and prices

The current services and prices are:

  • Snapshot, 149 euro, one off. A quick reality check across a small set of buyer questions.
  • Full Audit, 690 euro, one off. A deeper audit across five engines with a full leaderboard, a factual-error report and a prioritised fix roadmap.
  • Monitor, 290 euro per month. Ongoing tracking after your audit, so you can see whether you are gaining ground as engines update.
  • Partner, scoped from 1,500 euro per month. Hands-on, ongoing work for larger or multi-market brands.

All prices are shown without VAT, which we add where it applies. We may change our prices from time to time, but the price you are quoted and agree to for a given order will not change after you have ordered it. The exact scope of your work is confirmed in writing before we start.

How an order works

You tell us about your brand and market through the form, by email or on a call. We come back with a scope and a price. Once you confirm and, where relevant, pay, we begin the work. Turnaround for a first audit is usually 5 to 7 business days, though we will always give you a realistic timeline for your specific job.

Your side of the deal

To do good work we need accurate information from you, such as your website, what you sell, and the buyer questions and competitors that matter in your market. If the details you give us are wrong or incomplete, the findings can be affected, and that is not something we can be responsible for. You also confirm that you are allowed to ask us to audit the brand in question.

What we deliver, and what we do not promise

We promise to run your audit carefully, by hand, and to give you honest findings and clear, prioritised recommendations. What we cannot promise is a specific result. AI engines are run by third parties, they change often, and no one can guarantee that a brand will be named, ranked in a certain position, or described in a certain way inside an AI answer. Anyone who guarantees that is not being straight with you. Our job is to measure where you stand today and to give you the best route to improve it. The outcome then depends on the engines, your market, your competitors and the changes you make.

The money-back guarantee

We stand behind the Full Audit. If a Full Audit does not surface something you can act on, tell us within 14 days of receiving your report and we will refund it in full. This applies to the Full Audit. The Snapshot is instead credited in full toward a Full Audit if you book one within 30 days, so nothing you spend on a Snapshot is wasted if you decide to go deeper. Monitor and Partner are ongoing services and are covered by their own cancellation terms below rather than the 14-day refund.

Payment

One-off audits are payable as agreed before we start, unless we have said otherwise in writing. Monitor is billed monthly in advance. We invoice through a payment provider, and you are responsible for any taxes that apply to you. If an invoice for ongoing work is not paid, we may pause the service until it is settled.

Cancelling ongoing services

You can cancel Monitor at any time, and the cancellation takes effect at the end of the month you have already paid for. We do not lock you into long contracts. Partner engagements follow the notice period set out in that specific agreement.

Who owns what

When you have paid for an audit, the report and the recommendations in it are yours to use inside your business. What stays ours is the method behind the work, our templates, our know-how and anything we built before or outside your project. You may not resell our reports as your own product or pass our methodology off as yours. We may describe the work we did for you in general terms, for example in a case study, but we will not reveal confidential details without your say-so.

Keeping things confidential

We treat the non-public information you share with us as confidential and use it only to do your work. We ask that you treat our reports and pricing the same way. This is separate from how we handle personal data, which is covered in our Privacy Policy.

Third-party engines and tools

Our work depends on AI engines and other tools that we do not own or control. If one of them changes, restricts access, or goes down, it can affect what we can measure and when. We will always work in good faith around that, but we are not responsible for the decisions or availability of third-party platforms.

Our liability

We take our work seriously, and nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law. Beyond that, we are not liable for indirect or knock-on losses, such as lost profit, lost business or lost data, that follow from using our findings. Our total liability for any claim connected to a piece of work is limited to the amount you paid us for that work. Our audits are advice, and business decisions you make based on them remain yours.

The website

We keep the site accurate and available as best we can, but we provide it as is and may change or pause parts of it. Sample figures and example reports on the site are illustrations, not a promise of your results. Links to other sites are for convenience and we are not responsible for their content.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the business grows or the law changes. The version on this page, with the date at the top, is the one that applies. Changes do not affect an order you have already placed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which MentionShare is established, and any dispute will be handled by the courts of that country, unless the law that protects you as a consumer gives you a stronger right somewhere else. Please confirm the exact jurisdiction with us if you need it for your records.
